Custom Paper allows the designer to select from a range of different paper qualities. The quality and the type of paper is determined by the specifications entered when designing the page. These include the paper’s weight, density, thread count surface texture, and fiber content. Once the designer has decided on the paper quality they can also specify the dimensions for each of the principal areas: background and border and text, background images, and text.
The Layout and Visualization dialog box offers two options to customize paper size and weight. The [Width Setting] and [ Height Settingsections determine the dimensions of the text. The Output Size Setover section controls how large the output window is. The third section, which is referred to as the advanced section offers advanced features like auto layout or auto formatting. The fourth section, the default Allocations setting is where you can control different options for allocation, like whether to use default colors or themes and whether to include printer set background and foreground colors.
To custom size the size of a document, first go to the General Settings tab, then click on the custom size button. The custom size button appears as a double line at the bottom of the General Settings panel. To access the custom size tool highlight it and then click on its icon. Click OK to input a value for your personal size. To modify other sizes, visit the Add New Styles dialog box. Select the sizes you want. Once you have finished making the page your own, click the OK button.
Click on the Change Themes button to change the default theme color. The theme currently selected is shown in the layout preview of the page and can be altered. To change the font color, click the Select Style button. Enter a new style name , then click on OK. To change the color of the background of a selected custom paper, select the color you want from the color pickers and click on Change Theme.
To print a PDF file using Microsoft Word, click the Print button and then select the Save As option. The currently selected custom paper name is also shown in the Save As dialog box. Use the Browse button to locate and select the desired location for the document. A page number is now displayed in the pop-up for location. The Browse button lets the user to browse all the files currently saved on the computer and select the desired file. Click the Open button to open a PDF file. Then enter the path.
Certain older computers do not support the latest drivers for printers. In these instances, it may be necessary to install the appropriate driver prior to printing. To do this, first , ensure that the appropriate driver for the device is installed on the computer. Then download and install the free Print Driver Software. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the program. Next, make use of the driver software for updating the printer drivers.
After the Print Driver Software has been installed and the user is prompted to select the custom size of paper from the Print menu. The user will have a choice of four custom sizes: Courier, Arial, Glass Lettering and Roman. Utilize the buttons to alter the size of the customized pages.
